Michelle Hausman

Michele has always been a student of movement ballet, jazz, aerobics. However, when she discovered yoga it was like "coming home." The marriage of movement, mindfulness and breath was what she had been seeking all those years. Michele teaches a challenging, yet balanced, vinyasa class focusing on safe alignment and the constant flow of breath. She feels yoga is a vehicle for knowing ourselves on a deeper level, to notice our habits of mind, and to practice compassion towards ourselves and others. Says Michelle, "With great gratitude I acknowledge my teachers: Baron Baptiste, Lisa Black, Jeanne Heileman, my students and the universe."
"It is love that fashions us into the fullness of our being---not our looks, not our work, not our wants, not our achievements, not our parents, not our status, not our dreams. These are all the fodder and the filler, the navigating fuels of our lives; but it is love, who we love, how we love, why we love and that we love which ultimately shapes us." - Daphne Rose Kingma.
