MOM N ME RETREAT
Mother's Day Weekend, 2012. May 11-13, 2012
Join Twist Yoga teachers Jen Mitchell & Yvette Sanchez for this joyful retreat where mothers can delight in mothering in a healthy, playful way. There will be time for mom to rejuvenate and relax with other mothers, time for mom to enjoy some alone time, as well as time for moms and children to play, eat, and enjoy the outdoors together. Included in the retreat are daily yoga classes, meals & activities for kids. Massage is also available.
We will group families into "tribes" at the beginning of the workshop to support each other in having some free time to rest, enjoy the outdoors, or have a massage. Each mom will be responsible for one 90 minute childcare shift on Saturday, but will have plenty of time while other moms watch the tribes.
On Sunday morning, our qualified babysitters will engage the children in 3 hours so mom can have time to relax & renew. The retreat is organized in a cooperative structure that involves all participants, but allows for unique opportunities for solace, as well.
Plan ahead for this one, moms; it's worth it! This event is always popular and space is limited. Please note: Childcare for children aged 3 years or younger (or those who are not potty trained) is not available.
Accommodations:
We will stay at Skalitude Retreat Center, located in the Methow Valley, where it's already summer in May. Skalitude is set up as a model of sustainable living, operating off-the-grid and in harmony with nature. The retreat begins at 4pm on Friday, and concludes Sunday afternoon. 8-9:30am Kids' tribe activity
8-9-15am Moms' morning yoga
9:30am Breakfast
10:30am Mom + kids free time, nap time.
2pm Kids' tribe activity
4pm Mom n me class (yoga, music or art)
5:30pm Dinner
6:30pm Kids' tribe activity (story or movie time)
6:45pm Moms' restorative yoga
Investment:

Summer, 2012. Unplug & Renew at BREITENBUSH HOT SPRINGS

From July 8-13, 2012, retreat with us to Breitenbush Hot Springs Resort, where you can unplug and let us take care of things. You'll spend six days practicing yoga and meditation, eating healthy food, hiking in the old-growth forest and soaking in the hot springs at Twist Yoga's summer retreat to Breitenbush. After a week of peace and yoga, you'll feel renewed and recharged, and when you come home you will be in a very good mood.
You will deepen your yoga practice. You can get a massage. Or, you can rest. You can meet new people. You can bring your best friend or husband.... or you can come alone. You can work on your novel. But most of all, you will relax and renew.
This retreat is offered as the culmination residential training of Twist Yoga Teacher Training with Heather Falkin, however yogis not enrolled in the teacher training may attend as a personal retreat.

We will stay at Breitenbush Hot Springs, an off-the-grid resort nestled on 154 acres of ancient Oregon forest with a pristine river and inviting hot springs. The retreat begins at 4pm on Sunday, and concludes the following Friday afternoon. Retreat participants will sleep in rustic and cozy cabins. - 18 meditation and yoga classes
